How verification works

Why we verify

Twelve Baskets exists so Christian families can find people from the community they can trust, and so Christian providers can grow their work through that trust. Verification is what makes this possible.

The steps

• The provider gives us the name and address of their church, and their pastor’s name and email.
• They upload a letter from their pastor on church letterhead confirming they are a member.
• We email the pastor a private link. The pastor confirms they know and recommend the provider, and can add a note.
• Our team checks the letter and the pastor’s reply. When everything matches, the listing gets the church-verified badge and goes live.

What the badge does not mean

The badge tells you the provider is known to a local pastor. It is not a guarantee of the quality of their work, their prices or their licences. Please agree the details directly with the provider, and leave an honest review afterwards to help others.
